What is Pierce's Disease?

Pierce's Disease is a bacterial infection, which is spread by bugs that feed on grapevines, particularly the "glassy winged sharpshooter." Grapevines that become infected with PD can quickly become sick and die.

Prepare and submit for publication a pictorial, annotated key to Gonatocerus species and other genera and species of Mymaridae egg parasitoids of Homalodisca spp. and other Proconiine sharpshooters in North America, with emphasis on the species native or introduced to California.
