The Fifth Xanthomonas Genomics Conference

In 2015, the 5th Xanthomonas Genomics Conference will take place in Colombia. Genomics is only a minor component of this conference, which will tackle topics as diverse as Diversity and Diagnosis, Epidemiology and Ecology, Pathogenesis and Regulation, Activation and Suppression of Plant Defense, Disease Resistance and Disease Control. Since Xanthomonas belongs to the family Xanthomonadaceae, just as Xylella, we would like to invite our colleagues from the Pierce Disease community to present your results and to share your ideas during this exciting conference.

The XGC2015 website is available at here. There, you can find more information about the scientific sessions, important deadlines, committees, location and general info on the meeting. Online registration and payment are available as well. As you will see, there are different prices for early and late registrations. Therefore we suggest that you register as early as possible.

We kindly request that you forward this message to any researcher and/or scientific organization that might be interested.

Looking forward to see you in Bogotá, Colombia, we are at your disposal for any further information in our official email The XGC2015 Organizing Committee.
